Day Six at Harvard Kennedy School: Au Revoir, Not Goodbye
Today was the final day of what has been a powerful, inspiring, and unforgettable journey.
No alarms. No rushed commutes. I allowed myself a slower morning—something I hadn’t done all week. I stayed in my room a bit longer, gathered my thoughts, and headed to the Harvard Kennedy School campus around 8:00 AM, giving myself space to breathe and reflect.
Final Presentations and a Quiet Wrap-Up
Today’s working session was centered around custom AI bots—and several of my classmates presented the tools they’d built to serve their organizations. One had trained a bot using 15+ years of podcast and speech content to support Irish political communication. Another built an assistant that streamlines briefings and internal emails for local government leaders.
The potential of these bots to save hours of time, enhance institutional memory, and increase productivity is truly remarkable.
Although I didn’t get to present my work today, I walked away encouraged. Sometimes, it’s not about speaking—it’s about receiving, processing, and strategizing what comes next.
And the truth is:
This experience isn’t the end—it’s the beginning.
Certificate in Hand. Vision in Heart.
I received my Harvard Kennedy School certificate today—yes, I took the picture 😄
But more than the credential, I walked away with a sense of clarity and calling.
What I gained here isn’t just theoretical. It’s actionable.
Plans Moving Forward
🔹 Create a one-pager summarizing this week and how it ties into my firm’s AI & Data strategy
🔹 Share learnings with my Deloitte team, especially around custom bots, prompt frameworks, alignment risks, and ethical safeguards
🔹 Reflect with my sponsors and leaders on how we scale this knowledge into delivery excellence
🔹 Continue building my thought leadership at the intersection of policy, AI, and servant leadership
Before flying back to Arizona, I made one more stop—the Deloitte Boston office.
I wanted to pause, capture the moment, and begin sketching how this week fits into my broader mission. Being able to represent my firm while learning at the world’s top public policy school is not something I take lightly.
Till We Meet Again
To my HKS classmates, faculty, and everyone who shaped this week: thank you.
To the AI & Data leaders watching from afar: let’s talk about what’s possible.
To the future: I’m coming with vision, readiness, and stewardship.
This is just the beginning.
